SEATTLE — Seattle Police are searching for a teenage suspect after a 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Central District.
Police say a teen walked into the Garfield Teen Life Center shortly before 4 p.m. Monday with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The suspect fled the area after the shooting, which happened near 23rd Avenue and East Cherry Street.
The shooting prompted the temporary lockdown of nearby Garfield High and Nova schools.
Investigators searched the area for the suspect.
