SPOKANE — A 13-year-old boy was shot by a homeowner during an early morning burglary in Medical Lake.
The Spokane County sheriff’s office says the boy was taken to a hospital. He was in stable condition Monday.
The boy and another 14-year-old boy were carrying baseball bats when the homeowner confronted them after an alarm alerted him to a break-in. Neither boy has been arrested.
