EVERETT — A 10-year-old boy suffered two broken legs after being struck by a car Thursday morning in south Everett.
It happened about 7:45 a.m. while the boy was walking his bike across the street at Holly Drive and 100th Street SW, Everett police Sgt. Ryan Dalberg said.
The boy is a student at Challenger Elementary, according to the school district.
The driver stayed on scene and she cooperated with police, Dalberg said.
There was no evidence of drugs, alcohol or speed being involved.
“It was strictly an accident,” Dalberg said.
No other details were available Thursday.
