BELLINGHAM — A 7-year-old boy who was swept off Whatcom Falls has reportedly been moved to Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
KIRO reports the boy is in critical condition.
Authorities say the boy was on a trip to Whatcom Falls Park Tuesday with his family when he slipped on a rock and was swept over a 20-foot waterfall.
Searchers found him in a pool about two hours later and he was initially reported as dead. He was first taken to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center.
