BREMERTON — Olympic College has adopted a policy restricting non-student protesters one year after an anti-abortion group riled feelings by showing giant pictures of aborted fetuses.
The Kitsap Sun reports that members of the Anti-Choice Project, who showed the pictures, have sought legal counsel.
Last fall, the protesters showed large photographs of aborted fetuses on campus, prompting school officials to review their policy.
This year, college officials decided to enact several restrictions, including a 48-hour notification system in which school officials would review the material.
The American Civil Liberties Union says the policy is problematic with free speech rights.
