BREMERTON, Wash. — Police say a fugitive who broke a guard’s shoulder while fleeing from the Bremerton Municipal Courthouse is back in custody.
Police say Holden Lippard-Taste was captured Thursday morning hiding under bed at a hotel.
The 19-year-old had been brought to court Aug. 20 by a probation officer who suspected him of being under the influence of methamphetamine. When his name was called he bolted and ran over the 74-year-old guard who attempted to stop him from running out the front door.
Lippard-Taste had been convicted in October of heroin possession.
