Bremerton man gets 14-year sex crimes sentence

PORT ORCHARD — A 47-year-old Bremerton man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for sex crimes.

The Kitsap Sun reports Roy Ladale Pierce made a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty Monday in Kitsap County Superior Court to child molestation, child pornography and voyeurism.

Detectives searched his home and found pornography on computers, cameras and videotapes. They say he had hidden cameras around his home and filmed women disrobing. They believe he also took photos of women at Bremerton Lanes where he was bar manager before the bowling alley closed last year.

His lawyer, Steve Lewis, said Pierce had retired honorably from the Navy after 20 years, had no other criminal history and cooperated with authorities.
