LYNNWOOD — A brush fire this afternoon backed up traffic on southbound I-5 near 220th Street SW.
Crews closed several lanes on southbound I-5 about 2 p.m. after a brush fire sparked on the shoulder, according to state Department of Transportation. Drivers initially were getting by in the carpool lane.
Crews reopened lanes one by one and cleared the scene around 4:30 p.m.
