MONROE – A man landed a small plane in a rural Monroe field this morning during a test flight.
He wasn’t injured and no fuel was spilled in the bumpy landing. A fence was damaged.
The man set the plane down around 10:30 a.m. in the 17500 block of 190th Street SE, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
“He just decided the motor wasn’t getting enough fuel so he put (the plane) down in a rural area,” she said.
