He’d arrived in what appeared to be a white Hyundai Sonata from the early 2010s. He knocked on the front door, got no response from inside and went around to the back door, Sgt. Shane Hawley said. He picked up a large rock and broke the window to get in. He fled with a few items as an alarm sounded, according to Edmonds police.
A back wheel on the Sonata appeared to be a “donut” spare tire. The burglar wore black shoes, a black-and-white jacket and pants with a distinctive black-and-white pattern.
