ARLINGTON — People at the Stillaguamish Senior Center say they still are reeling from a burglary that occurred there Sunday night or early Monday.
The front door was damaged in the burglary. Taken were nearly $4,000 worth of equipment, including a big screen TV, a Nintendo Wii, an electronic piano and a digital camera. Seniors had held fundraisers over the years to buy the equipment, said center director Jo Olson.
“This is so devastating. Who would take things from seniors? They worked hard to get these things, which were well used at the center,” Olson said.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Arlington police at 360-403-3400.
To donate to the senior center to replace the equipment, call Olson at 360-653-4551.
