PORTLAND, Ore. — Police have recovered costumes stolen from a student-musical production of “The Pirates of Penzance” at the old Oregon City High School.
The Oregonian reports that members of the nonprofit Journey Theatre Arts Groups discovered burglars had stolen two pirate costumes and some concessions Monday evening.
Oregon City Police Sgt. Shaun Davis says officers caught two young juveniles shortly after midnight Monday morning as they were trying the leave the school. Police recovered the two pirate costumes along with some candy. The costumes were returned to the troupe.
The two suspects were taken into custody and referred to the Clackamas County Juvenile Department.
