SPOKANE — The busiest stretch of Interstate 90 in Eastern Washington is about to get more crowded.
The state Department of Transportation is going to repair and resurface the Altamont Street and Havana Street bridges in Spokane starting on July 11.
More than 110,000 vehicles a day use those bridges, and they’ll be squeezed into two lanes in each direction.
The work should be done by Aug. 4.
