EVERETT — A Camano Island woman allegedly had a list of more than 100 stolen credit card accounts with her when police arrested her on Thanksgiving.
Police were called to a motel in the 1600 block of SE Everett Mall Way after a clerk complained a room was paid for using a stolen credit card, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Police arrested the woman, 26, and a man, 28, as they were pulling into the motel’s parking lot, Goetz said.
When officers searched the truck the pair were driving, they found four typed pages with more than 100 names, credit card numbers and expiration dates, according to a court document filed today in Everett District Court.
Detectives also found stolen credit cards and other stolen property in the truck.
The woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of 25 counts of first-degree identity theft, three counts of second-degree possession of stolen property and multiple warrants.
She’s being held in lieu of $750,000 bail.
The man was arrested for investigation of malicious harrassment after he yelled racial slurs at an Everett police officer, Goetz said. He was booked and released from the county jail.
Detectives continue to investigate and likely will forward additional evidence to prosecutors, Goetz said.
