Car crashes into Lynnwood barber shop

LYNNWOOD — Two people escaped injury at the Q-Cuts barber shop Friday afternoon when a car crashed through the storefront at 18505 Alderwood Mall Parkway, according to the Lynnwood Fire Department. The driver, a woman in her late 80s, apparently was attempting to park her car when she accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake, suffering minor injuries in the 2 p.m. crash. Police have asked the state to review the woman’s drivers license. The incident remains under investigation.
