BREMERTON — With sailors in white uniforms outlining the deck, the aircraft carrier John Stennis returned to Bremerton and families and friends holding balloons and waving flags.
The ship with more than 3,000 sailors on board arrived about 7 a.m. today, completing a six-month deployment to the western Pacific.
Bremerton has been the Stennis home port since 2005.
