Cause of death on U.S. 2 sought

The Snohomish County Medical Examiners Office is investigating the death of an Arlington woman who died Tuesday, one day after her car came to a stop on the Hewitt Avenue Trestle.

Valerie J. Vickery, 52, was eastbound on Highway 2 at the west end of the trestle when her car struck a jersey barrier and rolled to a stop in the left lane, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Troopers said in a memo that the cause of death could be related to a medical condition.
