Rohwer
Robert “Bob” and Norma Rohwer of Lynnwood will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
The couple were married Aug. 22, 1948, in North Hollywood, California.
Bob and Norma moved to Washington with their two daughters 40 years ago. Bob worked in electronics until he retired. He and Norma then spent 15 years as snowbirds traveling between Washington and Arizona.
Looking for something else to do, the couple joined The Old Time and Country Music Association, and Sound Singers of Edmonds. Bob and Norma still perform with the group and are kept busy singing at nursing homes and other venues with the group. They also belong to a ukulele group called The Sweet Someones.
The couple feels blessed to have had a wonderful 60 years together.
Bob and Norma have two children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Shehi
Howard and Gertrude Shehi of Everett recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
The couple were married Aug. 19, 1933, in Manhattan, Kan. They moved to the Northwest from Wichita in 1968.
Howard and Gertrude have two children and four grandchildren.
