SEATTLE — The National Weather Service expects snow showers in the Western Washington lowlands late tonight and Thursday.
Amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the northwest interior and along the Hood Canal, but forecasters do not expect widespread accumulations. High temperatures Thursday will reach the low 40s.
Heavier snow, 4 to 10 inches, will fall in the Cascades with the heaviest amount likely at Mount Baker. Forecasters say drivers should expect winter driving conditions today and Thursday in the mountain passes.
The National Weather Service also forecasts mountain snow for Eastern Washington with snow reaching lower elevations Thursday.
