Prosecutors on Friday filed first-degree murder charges against a Sultan man and an Everett teen in the death of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of a car in November.
Both were being held in lieu of $1 million bail in the death of Terilynn Gardner, 18, who was tied in a chair and bludgeoned with a hammer, according to court documents.
Charged in Snohomish County Superior Court were Aaron Robert Bander, 21, and Suzie Kay Le, 17.
The body was discovered after a stolen car was illegally parked in the lot of a south Everett apartment complex and towed away.
Although Le is a juvenile, she was charged in adult court because of the seriousness of the crime.
Everett police had been seeking Bander and Le for weeks after they got information that they might be involved. Bander was arrested in late December after an officer spotted him coming down a staircase. Le later surrendered herself to police.
