You can now check toll rates for the I-405 express lanes before you head out the door. The same rate information that appears on electronic reader boards is now fed to an online map, at tinyurl.com/405tollrates.
Keep in mind, though, that toll rates are calculated every 5 minutes, so the rates could change by the time you get to the on-ramp. The online map also lags the information posted over roadways by up to 5 minutes.
Customers are charged the rate that is on the roadway sign when they enter the express lanes.
