WENATCHEE — Former Chelan County Jail corrections officer Charles Storlie was sentenced to more than two years in prison Thursday in Wenatchee for taking bribes from inmates.
Storlie, 40, pleaded guilty to three counts of bribery committed in September 2010 and documented by undercover investigators.
The Wenatchee World reports one inmate paid him $50 for a confiscated cellphone. Another paid $50 for a bag of fast food and a tin of chewing tobacco.
Investigators had also accused Storlie of taking $150 to allow an inmate’s girlfriend to visit for sex.
