BREMERTON — Repairs have nearly been completed to the state ferry Chetzemoka (chet-za-moh-kah), which had its hull dented last month while in drydock at Vigor Shipyards in Seattle.
The Kitsap Sun reported that the shipyard took responsibility for the accident and made repairs at no cost to taxpayers.
The 64-car ferry could be back on the water Wednesday, but it needs three more weeks of maintenance at Eagle Harbor before returning to service on the Point Defiance-Tahlequah route.
