Several graduates of Providence Classical Christian School in Bothell will stick together as they continue on to college this fall — and with the help of the same scholarships.
Katie French, of Lynnwood, was awarded a $4,500 BJU Academic Excellence Scholarship and a $500 BJU Legacy Scholarship to attend Bob Jones University in South Carolina this fall. She plans to study special education. French graduated magna cum laude this year from Providence.
Classmate Molly Jorgensen, also of Lynnwood, will join her and also was a recipient of a BJU Academic Excellence Scholarship, for $4,500, and a $500 BJU Legacy Scholarship. She plans to study music education. She graduated cum laude from Providence.
Olivia Hatcher, of Snohomish, was awarded a $500 scholarship from New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho, where she plans to attend this fall. The ACCS Alumni Scholarship is given to first-time college freshmen who graduate from an Association of Classical and Christian Schools member school. While in Idaho, Hatcher also plans to study at the Music Conservatory in Sandpoint.
Holly Evans, of Bothell, also received an ACCS Alumni Scholarship to attend New Saint Andrews College. She also received a $2,000 ACCS Educator Scholarship. Evans graduated magna cum laude from Providence.
Dane Kowalick, of Bothell, also received an ACCS Alumni Scholarship to attend New Saint Andrews College.
