LINCOLN CITY, Ore. — The National Weather Service in Portland is warning of strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts over the waters on the coast.
The areas affected include coastal waters from Cape Shoalwater in Washington state to Cascade Head in Oregon.
The storms are capable of producing funnel clouds and possible waterspouts.
The weather service warns the storms could pose a hazard for boaters.
