Stribling and Thompson

Misty Stribling and John Thompson, both of Lake Stevens, are planning an Aug. 8 wedding in Cannon Beach, Ore.

Their parents are Troy and Jan Stribling of Portland, Ore., and Mark and Tammi Osburn of Lake Stevens, and Richard and Laura Thompson of Arlington, and Sharon and Scott Epperly-Ramstead of Everett.

John is a 1998 graduate of Cascade High School. He works for DirecTV.

Misty is a 2000 graduate of Lake Stevens High School. She works for Puget Sound Kidney Center.

John proposed to Misty while the two were at Lake Coeur d’Alene during Thanksgiving 2008.
