Hays

David and Barbara Hays of Springfield, Ore., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Caribbean cruise with friends.

The couple were married May 8, 1959, in Everett.

David served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He retired from the lumber industry.

Barbara retired from Safeway in Washington and Oregon. Both are members of St. Alice Catholic Church in Springfield.

David and Barbara have eight children, 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
