Knudson-Schefter
Kamiak grad Jeff Knudson is enaged to marry Annie Schefter next month.
The groom, 28, played basketball for Kamiak High School and Seattle Pacific University. He is the son of Jeff and Laura Knudson, longtime Mukilteo residents who now live in Santa Barbara, Calif., part of the year.
The bride, 27, is the daughter of Rob and Grace Schefter of Yakima. She played soccer at Notre Dame University.
The Seattle couple met at the University of Washington Dental School. Jeff Knudson proposed last year after taking Annie Schefter to visit the couple’s favorite places in the area.
The wedding is planned for July 29 in Seattle.
Nelson-Mason
Jessica Nelson of Lake Stevens and Michael Mason of San Francisco are planning an August wedding.
The bride is the daughter of David and Kathie Nelson of Lake Stevens and a graduate of Lake Stevens High School. The groom is the son of David and Diana Mason of Clayton, Calif.
The couple met while attending different graduate schools in Los Angeles.
Jessica Nelson is a clinical psychologist and Michael Mason is a computational biologist.
The couple plan to wed Aug. 6 at the bride’s family home.
