Arlington: Learn about 67th Avenue NE project
An open house on plans to improve 67th Avenue NE, between 204th Street NE and Lebanon Street, is scheduled for Sept. 17.
The meeting is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 110 E. Third St.
The proposed improvements include widening the road for a two-way left turn lane, completion of the Centennial Trail within Arlington, and the installation of sidewalks, lighting, and other features.

Stanwood: Shoreline Master Program work
The Stanwood City Council on Thursday is scheduled to consider hiring a consultant to update the city’s Shoreline Master Program.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Stanwood-Camano School District Administration Building, 26920 Pioneer Highway.
The council is scheduled to decide whether to authorize the mayor to sign a contract with Parametrix of Bellevue to update the plan. The Shoreline Master Program sets rules for development near waterways.
