Eat: Prime Rib Dinner to help the Armed Forces
The American Legion is organizing a prime rib dinner starting at 4:30 p.m. April 20 at the Frank Hancock Post No. 92, 26921 88th Ave. NW, Stanwood. Everyone is invited. Cost is $13 and includes prime rib, baked potato, salad bar, veggies and dessert. There are cocktails available.
The event ends when all food is gone. This is the legion’s main fundraiser to support all projects for veterans and scholarships.

Attend: Class for unpaid caregivers
The Stillaguamish Senior Center is hosting a class to help unpaid caregivers learn how to manage stress, deal with depression and find the positive in difficult situations.
Class start at 1 p.m. April 23 at the center’s side room, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.

Attend: Swap your old books and clothing
The Mountlake Terrace Library is celebrating Earth Day by hosting a book and clothing swap. The event is from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 22 at 23300 58th Ave. W.
Bring unwanted, clean clothing and books in good condition and trade them at the event. Any leftover books will be donated to the Friends of the Library and other items will be given to a local charity.

Participate: Marysville to held graffiti paint-out
Marysville is organizing its second graffiti paint-out from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday starting at Cedarcrest Middle School, 6400 88th St.

Compete: Bowling fundraiser
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County will host its annual Cinco de Mayo Bowl for Kids’ Sake to benefit the organization May 5 and 6 at Glacier Lanes, 9630 Evergreen Way, Everett. The goal is to raise at least $100 in donations for the organization per team member. The deadline to register is April 20. In order to be a part of this event you must create or join a team of five people. Eat: Mill Creek breakfast fundraiser
The Mill Creek Senior Center will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast to raise funds for their center from 8:30 to 11 a.m. April 19 at the Merrill Gardens Retirement Community, 14905 Bothell-Everett Highway, Mill Creek. The suggested donation is $10.
There will be waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea and juice. For more information, call the senior office at 425-948-7170.
