Attend: Benefit car show in Everett
The seventh annual show for hot rods and custom motorcycles is coming to Everett next month.
The Bill Baker Memorial Steel & Wheels SuperShow is planned for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 13, at the Everett Machinists Union Hall, 8729 Airport Road, Everett.
The event is sponsored by Machinists Union Local Lodge 751-A and is a fundraiser for Guide Dogs of America, a charity that helps place trained guide dogs with vision-impaired people, said spokesman Bryan Corliss.
Entries are $20 for those who register before the event or $25 the day of the event. Registration forms are available at Machinists union halls in Auburn, Everett, Renton and Seattle. Food and live music are scheduled.
Last year’s SuperShow attracted more than 60 custom cars and bikes and raised more than $15,000. Both are records for the event, Corliss said.
