Volunteers from Granite worked long hours through snow showers and freezing temperatures over two weekends to install a new playground at Twin Lakes Landing in Marysville. Housing Hope estimates the volunteer effort saved the nonprofit $10,000 in labor and installation costs.
“The playground is already well loved by the children that live with us,” Housing Hope CEO Fred Safstrom said.
