Snohomish County assessment notices have been arriving in mailboxes for about 20,700 condominiums this month.
The average condo value in the county was $191,000 compared to $218,000 a year ago. That’s a decrease of nearly 12.5 percent. The Snohomish County Assessor’s Office based the latest values on sales in 2009 and will use them to calculate next year’s taxes.
Condominium owners have until July 1 to file an appeal with the Board of Equalization.
