SPANAWAY — Authorities say three people are in custody after a woman was shot while working at a convenience store in Spanaway.
Pierce County Sheriff’s Office Detective Ed Troyer says the 30-year-old woman was shot Thursday afternoon during a robbery while working at the Pacific Quickmart on Pacific Avenue South and 167th Street South.
Officials say the woman was taken to Tacoma General Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
KING-TV reported that the woman was listed in stable condition at 5 p.m.
Officials say two of the people detained have been arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting.
