WENATCHEE — The Chelan County coroner says the man found dead in a Wenatchee ditch on Thursday drowned accidentally.
Coroner Wayne Harris said it’s unclear how Michael W. Andruss, 38, of East Wenatchee, ended up in the culvert, but alcohol was a contributing factor.
KPQ-AM reported that the body was found by children on their way to school. It was about a block from Foothills Middle School.
