Celtic music concert
Jeff Johnson, Brian Dunning and Wendy Goodwin perform Celtic music Friday on Camano Island.
The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. at St. Aidan Episcopal Church, 1318 Highway 532.
Tickets are $15 at the church.
Village harkens to an old-time Christmas: Step back into an old-world village at Wintertide, a free annual celebration from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.
Join carolers in song and warm up next to a bonfire and enjoy a cup of cocoa. Kids’ activities include holiday craft projects and a model railroad.
Consider adopting a pound puppy for Christmas: The Everett Animal Shelter would like folks to consider adopting a pet for the holidays.
The shelter accepts about 7,500 animals annually, but only 2,500 find homes. The shelter also needs donated pet food.
Drop off dry dog or cat food between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily at the shelter, 333 Smith Island Road.

Free swim date in Marysville: Partners in the Marysville Healthy Communities Project offer free swimming.
It’s planned for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School pool, 5611 108th St. NE. Swimming is free for the first 200 who attend.
The Healthy Communities Project asks participants to help the Marysville Community Food Bank by donating a nutritious canned food item.
