EVERETT – The Snohomish County Fire Marshal has imposed a burn ban for the entire county until several days of rain lowers the risk of wildfires.
The burn ban went into effect just after midnight this morning.
Recreational fires in approved enclosures and permitted agricultural fires are allowed, Fire Marshal Tom Maloney said.
People should think twice before lighting any recreational fires, and have water or fire extinguishers available, he said.
