Snohomish County’s Human Resources Department will be honored with a prestigious national award later this month.
The department, led by Bridget Clawson, has won the Alfred P. Sloan award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility and will be recognized during a luncheon on June 30, county spokesman Christopher Schwarzen said.
The award is part of the When Work Works initiative. It recognizes organizations for successful flexible work practices.
Clawson’s team has been working to do more with less at the time of budget cuts, county Executive Aaron Reardon said in a statement.
