AUBURN — Four people were killed in a single-vehicle crash south of Seattle.
Auburn Police say a vehicle left the roadway early Saturday and struck a power pole.
Auburn Police Commander Steve Stocker told The News Tribune that two females and two males were found dead at the scene. Two other occupants were seriously injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver survived. Stocker says the victims appeared to be in their 20s.
Police say alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash.
Stocker says a small dog was also apparently in the vehicle. It was found alive at the scene, but was later euthanized due to injuries.
Auburn is about 30 miles south of Seattle.
