EVERETT — Several blocks were closed to traffic Tuesday afternoon after a garbage truck overturned in downtown Everett.
Police and firefighters were called to the intersection of W. Marine View Drive and Everett Avenue after 1 p.m.
The accident involved a Rubatino Refuse Removal truck and two cars.
Medics evaluated a man and a woman who were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Everett fire marshal Rick Robinson said.
Everett Avenue was closed between W. Marine View Drive and Grand Avenue.
W. Marine View Drive was closed between California Street well past Everett Avenue.
