Lake Stevens
* Main Street, 1800 block, Jan. 22. A man, 49, walked into a business and struck his wife, 34. The man was charged with assault.
* E. Lakeshore Drive, 700 block, Jan. 21. A man, 20, was inside his vehicle when a passing car stopped and someone inside threw a rock through the man’s windshield.
* N. Lakeshore Drive, 11000 block, Jan. 21. Officers assisted the fire department with a vehicle fire. There were no injuries reported.
Monroe
* 16500 block of 156th St. SE, Dec. 18. A 36-year-old woman reportedly overdosed on antidepressant medication.
* 100 block of Kelsey St., Dec. 17. A driver hit a parked vehicle and fled the scene. Witnesses obtained the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle. Police located the vehicle later and arrested the driver for DUI and hit-and-run.
* 16700 block of 177th Ave. SE, Dec. 20. A prison inmate assaulted another inmate.
* 19800 block of U.S. 2, Dec. 20. Someone stole license plates from a vehicle parked at the Albertson’ grocery store.
* 17900 block of U.S. 2, Dec. 26. A hit-and-run accident was reported.
* 18000 block of U.S. 2, Dec. 26. Three cars collided. No one was injured.
* 14600 block of 179th Ave. SE, Dec. 25. Police arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant after finding a bag of possible narcotics in her backpack.
* 20000 block of S. Lewis St., Jan. 4. Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. An officer smelled marijuana, and the driver handed over a pipe with marijuana.
* 18600 block of U.S. 2, Jan. 3. Two women tried to cash a stolen check. One was arrested for forgery, and the other for warrants and possession of methamphetamine.
* 16800 block of Alpental Lane, Jan. 2. A dispute between a man and his ex-girlfriend over custody of their 12-year-old daughter was reported.
* 17600 block of 147th St., Dec. 31. Officers responded to a suspicious activity and recovered a stolen motorcycle.
* 19900 block of U.S. 2, Dec. 30. Someone entered a local business and threatened a clerk with a weapon to get money. The suspect fled on foot and later was found and arrested.
* 16500 block of Currie Road, Jan. 5. A woman harassed another woman.
* 70100 block of W. Elizabeth St., Jan. 4. A caregiver allegedly used a patient’s debit card number to make several changes. Also, several items were reported to be missing from the patient’s home.
