Here’s a roundup of some of the more interesting recent neighborhood crime news from the area, provided by police:

Everett

* 8500 block of Evergreen Way, Oct. 20. An Everett woman reported she was coming out of Fred Meyer when she saw two teenage boys in her Honda Civic. Police searched the area but couldn’t find the boys. The car’s steering column and ignition were damaged.

* 500 block of SE Everett Mall Way, Oct. 22. A man reported that a paycheck was stolen from his bag.

* 3100 block of Broadway, Oct. 23. A Chevron clerk reported that a man armed with a knife robbed the convenience store of $121. Police checked the area but couldn’t find the man.

* 3400 block of Rockefeller Avenue, Oct. 24. A man reported that a tire on his pickup was cut with a knife.

* 8500 block of Evergreen Way, Oct. 24. Police arrested a SeaTac man following a fight with a woman in the Fred Meyer parking lot. An officer discovered the man was carrying cocaine. The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of cocaine possession.

* 3400 block of Lombard Avenue, Oct. 25. An Everett man reported that his toolbox and four sheets of lumber valued at $550 were stolen from an apartment he was working on, and that the apartment’s front door was broken.

* 700 block of 13th Street, Oct. 25. An Everett man reported that six stainless-steel panels were stolen from his business. The panels were valued at $1,000.

* 8500 block of Evergreen Way, Oct. 25. The manager of Taco Time reported that the restaurant’s front door lock was pulled out. Nothing was missing in the restaurant. Estimated cost of the front door damage and replacing the lock was $400.

* 1600 block of Virginia Street, Oct. 26. An Everett woman reported that six to eight 1-inch holes were cut in the hood of her Honda.

* 800 block of E. Casino Road, Oct. 26. An Everett officer saw a 42-year-old homeless man walking off Cascade High School at 7 a.m. The man had been sleeping in an unlocked storage shed at the west end of the campus. A computer check revealed the man was wanted on a warrant for driving under the influence. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

* 2300 block of Monroe Avenue, Oct. 27. A man reported that $5,750 worth of power and hand tools were stolen from his garage, in addition to golf clubs valued at $1,850.

* 2800 block of 10th Avenue, Oct. 28. Police arrested an 18-year-old man at Wiggums Hollow Park who appeared to be drunk and smelled of alcohol.

* 700 block of W. Casino Road, Oct. 29. A woman reported that after several guests visited her apartment, she was missing $130 in cash and a watch valued at $400.

* 700 block of W. Casino Road, Oct. 29. An Everett woman reported a wicker bassinet valued at $70 had been stolen.

n 1700 block of Broadway, Oct. 29. An undercover Everett officer arrested a woman on suspicion of prostitution, loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* 6000 block of Seahurst Avenue, Oct. 30. An Everett woman reported that she was expecting a paycheck and several bills and found her mailbox empty. Several mailboxes nearby also had been opened and damaged.

* 700 block of W. Casino Road, Oct. 30. An Everett woman reported that a floral plastic chair valued at $40 was stolen from in front of her apartment.

* 6600 block of Fleming Avenue, Oct. 30. A woman reported several pieces of mail stolen from her mailbox.

* 2600 block of Broadway, Oct. 31. A QFC employee reported that he saw a man conceal two packages of T-bone steaks valued at $53 inside his jacket and leave the store. An Everett officer arrested the man on suspicion of third-degree theft, and the store’s management ordered the man never to return.

* 400 block of Smith Island Road, Oct. 31. An Everett officer went to assist a park ranger who was detaining a man and woman. The ranger reported finding drug paraphernalia inside the man’s truck. The man was arrested, and in a search after the arrest the Everett officer found cocaine in the truck. The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail. The woman was released.

Monroe

* 17000 block of Tye Street SE, Oct. 14. A juvenile female allegedly caused a disturbance and disrupted school activities. She was charged with bomb threats and released to her guardian later.

* 100 block of S. Ferry Street, Oct. 13. A man allegedly was assaulted outside downtown business, and money was taken out of his wallet.

* 17900 block of W. Main Street, Oct. 12. The janitorial staff at Monroe Junior High School found a measurable amount of fireworks; they were impounded.

* 21100 block of 175th Place SE, Oct. 17. A tree fell on a parked patrol car.

* 16900 block of Allison Street SE, Sept. 27. A husband called and allegedly harassed his estranged wife.

* 17100 block of 154th Street SE, Oct. 16. Officers contacted and arrested someone on a traffic stop. The person possessed marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

* 19500 block of U.S. 2, Oct. 13. Officers stopped a car for expired tabs. The driver was found to have warrants for his arrest.

* 17000 block of Tye Street, Oct. 15. A car drove by a group of people and allegedly fired upon them with a BB gun. No one was injured.

* 200 block of Powell Street, Oct. 25. A car allegedly collided into two cars parked along street. Then, the car veered across street and struck two cars parked in driveway.

* 63900 block of W. Main Street, Oct. 25. A woman found a wallet when she was walking her dog. She turned it in to the police department.

* 200 block of E. Main Street, Oct. 20. Someone reportedly used a stolen credit card to buy goods at a local retail store.

* 200 block of S. Lewis Street, Oct. 31. Someone was held in custody for domestic violence and reportedly found to have prescription drugs without a prescription.

* 300 block of Elizabeth Street, Oct. 30. An ex-boyfriend allegedly violated a no-contact order.

* 100 block of E. Main Street, Nov. 2. A dangerous weapon reportedly was removed from a 16-year-old man.
