Here’s a roundup of some of the more interesting recent neighborhood crime news from throughout Snohomish and Island counties, provided by police:

Edmonds

* 100 block Main Street. Aug. 13. A vehicle was reported stolen from Brackett’s Landing dive park.

* 21000 block Highway 99. Aug. 12. A hand grenade, mortar round and miscellaneous ammunition was left at a local discount store. The items were turned over to Edmonds police to be destroyed.

Lynnwood

* 17300 block 34th Place W. Aug. 15. A 43-year-old man reported that his 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen from his residence. n 20600 block 44th Avenue W. Aug. 15. A saxophone, CD player and numerous CDs valued at $1,639 were reported stolen from a car. n 6500 block 181st Street SW. Aug. 15. A 1995 Toyota truck valued at $5,150 was reported stolen.

* 3000 block 184th Street SW. Aug. 14. A 23-year-old woman reported that her 1992 Honda Civic was stolen from the Alderwood mall parking lot.

* 20000 block Highway 99. Aug. 13. An armed robbery at a business was reported. Approximately $160 to $200 worth of items was reported stolen.

* 4600 block 200 Street SW. Aug. 13. A 62-year-old man was arrested for public indecency. n 21400 block 68th Avenue W. Aug. 10. A motor home was reported broken into and $4,475 worth of items were taken, mostly baseball cards.

Mill Creek

* 14700 block Main Street. Aug. 15. A motorcycle was reported stolen from an apartment complex.

* 15800 block Village Green Drive, Aug. 14. A moving truck was reported stolen. n Vehicle theft. 1100 block Mill Creek Boulevard. Aug. 14. A 1990 Nissan pickup truck with work tools and a ladder was reported stolen from an apartment complex parking lot. n 14600 block of 31st Drive. Aug. 12. Two 19-year-olds were found to be in possession of marijuana. They were cited and released.
