SPOKANE — Animal control officials say a 6-week-old Dalmatian puppy found abandoned in a trash bin is doing well in foster care.
The Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service is investigating.
The Spokesman Review reports the puppy was found Wednesday when someone heard it whimpering and barking in a large trash bin at a gas station in Spokane. The puppy will be put up for adoption.
The Humane Society of the United States is offering $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
