EVERETT — Several small children were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning for precautionary medical evaluations after a head-on collision involving a day-care van and an SUV.
No one received serious injuries, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
The crash was reported at 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Beverly Lane and Madison Street.
There were roughly 10 children in the van. Some complained of minor pain and were taken to the hospital for evaluation, Snell said.
The others also were taken to the hospital to keep the children together, he said. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
