SPOKANE — The Washington Department of Transportation reminds drivers they have five extra days to remove studded snow tires this year.
Early spring snowstorms the last week persuaded transportation officials to extend the traditional April 1 removal deadline.
Drivers caught with studded tires on Washington roads after next Saturday risk $101 tickets.
