LYNNWOOD — Two out-of-state men died in an apparent murder-suicide Wednesday night in Lynnwood, officials said.
Police received a 911 call around 10:30 p.m. from a second-floor hotel room in the 4300 block of Alderwood Mall Boulevard.
Police and medics found an Oregon man, 48, dead from several gunshot wounds, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said. Also in the hotel room was an Idaho woman, 39. She was not injured.
An Idaho man, 42, was found in the parking lot, dead from a single gunshot wound, Sessions said.
The trio knew each other and no one else appeared to be involved, Sessions said.
Second-floor hotel guests were removed from the building but allowed to return to their rooms later.
A dog was found in the Idaho man’s car. It was taken to an area veterinary clinic for an examination and determined to be unharmed.
