BREMERTON — The USS Ingraham, one of the last Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates in the U.S. Navy, arrived at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton shortly before noon Wednesday.
The 25-year-old ship, which had been decommissioned in November, is slated to be dismantled for scrap.
It had been based at Naval Station Everett, and when active, had a complement of 200 sailors and 30 officers.
The USS Rodney M. Davis, the last frigate at Naval Station Everett, was decommissioned Jan. 23. It will eventually be sold to a foreign navy.
The only warships left at Everett are the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers USS Shoup and USS Momsen. The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz was transferred to Bremerton this month for 16 months of scheduled maintenance and modernization.
