BOTHELL — A Snohomish County deputy suffered minor injuries early this morning when a patrol car hit an ice patch and skidded off the road during a traffic pursuit.
The deputy attempted to pull over a recklessly driven black Honda Civic just after midnight near the intersection of 108th Street SE and the Bothell-Everett Highway, sheriff’s Lt. Kathi Lang said.
A few miles later, the deputy’s patrol car hit some ice at the intersection of 185th Street SE and 35th Avenue SE and left the road, Lang said.
The deputy was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries. The suspect fled and deputies weren’t immediately able to make an arrest.
