The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross, along with the National Restaurant Association, offers “Dine for America” today to support hurricane victims.
More than 14,000 restaurant owners and operators across the country, including 312 in the state, will donate portions of sales or give a set donation. Patrons also may give directly to the Red Cross at a participating restaurants.

The Red Cross has served more than 14.6 million hot meals and 9.8 million snacks to hurricane survivors, at times 750,000 meals a day, the equivalent of feeding the entire population of San Francisco, said Chuck Morrison, Snohomish County chapter executive director.
